2020 White Lincoln Aviator

This is a 2020 Lincoln Aviator and is actually the very first vehicle to come here to the shop for PPF (paint protection film) and ceramic coating.

The Work

Paint Decontamination

I pre-washed the vehicle to remove any loose dirt or grime before we started our contact wash.

I foamed the vehicle with a decontamination soap from Obsessed Garage and allowed it to dwell on the paint long enough to break down any waxes or sealants that may have previously been applied to the paint.

I performed an iron removal on both the paint and the wheels with an iron remover from P and S Detail Products called “Iron Buster” to remove any ferrous material that may be embedded in the clear coat.

I clay barred the entire vehicle including the glass with a synthetic clay from Nanoskin called “Autoscrub” to remove any contaminants that may still be embedded in the clear coat before we started any aggressive compounding or polishing.

Paint Protection

I cleaned the entire vehicle with an alcohol-based panel wipe from Meguiar’s to remove any oil or residue left over from our compounding and polishing stages.

We (Cindy Denny and myself, I absolutely could not have done this without you!) applied STEK USA DYNOshield PPF to the front bumper, the fenders, and the hood.

I applied two layers of Ceramic Pro ceramic coating to all of the painted surfaces on the vehicle and the trim. (1 layer of Ceramic Pro 9H and 1 layer of Ceramic Pro Top Coat)

I applied Ceramic Pro “Wheel and Caliper” ceramic coating to all 4 wheels.

I applied Ceramic Pro “Glass” ceramic coating to the front windshield and both sunroofs.

Interior Protection

My interior specialist Cindy Denny fully detailed the interior.

We applied a layer of Ceramic Pro “Leather” to all of the seats and the leather portions of the interior.

We also cleaned and detailed the engine bay as well.
