Ceramic Coating Process

Decontamination Process

We pre-rinse the vehicle to remove any loose dirt or grime before our contact wash. We foam the vehicle with a “decontamination soap” to strip any previous forms of protection that may have been applied to the paint, agitate by hand, and rinse.
We chemically decontaminate the paint with an iron remover designed to remove ferrous material that could exist on the paint (brake dust, rail dust, etc.)
We clay bar all of the painted surfaces and the glass to remove any contaminants that may still be embedded in the clear coat before we start any aggressive compounding or correction.

Paint Correction and Enhancement

Your choice of paint correction package to get your vehicle’s exterior looking the absolute best it can before we lock in the finish.
Clean the entire vehicle with an alcohol-based panel wipe to remove any oil or residue that may be left over from our compound or finishing stages, and to ensure our ceramic coating bonds with our clear coat.

Ceramic Coating

Your choice of ceramic coating is applied. If desired, you may choose to have a second layer of ceramic coating applied to provide an additional level of resistance and protection.
To encourage the curing process we “bake” the ceramic coating on with Infratech IR Curing Lamps (medium wave).
We allow the ceramic coating to cure overnight. By the following day your “better than brand new” vehicle is ready for you to pick up.

PL Private Label

The very best Modesta has to offer. Private Label combines the advantages of both organic and inorganic technologies, thus delivering unprecedented shine, protection, resistance and self-cleaning effect.
The Private Label consists of two separate parts - an extremely thick and hard inorganic base coat and a super hydrophobic organic top coat. Both of them combine together during the application to form one durable protective layer, resistant to tar and asphalt from the roads, corrosion, oxidation, chemicals and mechanical damage.
Modesta Private Label requires regular maintenance and yearly renewal. It delivers protection for up to 10 years and is especially suitable for the most exclusive vehicles that can take advantage of professional care.
BC-04 Nano-Titanium Glass Coating

A new formula coating that combines the best advantages of the original Pure Liquid Glass coatings and highest quality nanograde titanium. This combination creates a deeper shine and better reflections on the paint. A significantly prolonged working time also allows easier and safer application.
The inorganic nature of the coating makes it fully resistant to oxidation. The hard physical barrier it creates also prevents paint from coming into contact with air and acts as a antiscratch protectant.
Modesta BC-04 is capable to withstand temperatures of up to 900 °C.
BC-08 Neosillica Matrix Coating

A hybrid solution for application on daily driven vehicles. Traces of zirconium create great shine and luster on the paint while its three dimensional matrix ensures excellent water repellency and self cleaning. The coating’s thick layer acts as a barrier to protect the finish of the vehicle from scratches and marring as well as adverse environmental effects.
BC-06 Heat Resistant Hard Glass Coating for Wheels & Body

Stain-resistance and ease of cleaning thanks to the hardness of the coating film are the most prominent characteristics of the BC-06 glass coating. This thin silica film made from perhydropolysilazane protects the car body and wheels from dust in raindrops that may penetrate soft paints or other painted surfaces and can be removed only with great effort. Thanks to the BC-06 protection washing is required less frequently.
BC-06 undergoes a chemical reaction when it comes in contact with a painted surface, creating a hard glass coating. It has a tightly packed molecular structure that creates a solid, long-lasting surface. BC-06 is heatproof up to 1,300 °C - enough to protect wheels from burning-hot brake dust.
This coating is applied with a paint gun with a nitrous oxide propellant.
LPS Leather Protection System

The Modesta Leather Protection System delivers exceptional protection to all leather and leather-like surfaces in interiors of motor vehicles. This two component system is the only in the market that protects the precious surfaces from both penetration by liquids and dirt as well as abrasions.
